These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Hatid Logistics (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking or using our delivery services, you agree to the following terms.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

1. Services

Hatid Logistics provides local same-day courier and parcel delivery services within designated service areas in Ontario.

Services include:

  • Parcel pickup

  • Local same-day delivery

  • Scheduled local deliveries

We do not provide international freight, brokerage, or hazardous transport services.

 

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are legally authorized to ship the item

  • The item complies with all applicable laws

 

3. Prohibited Items

We do not transport:

  • Illegal goods

  • Hazardous materials

  • Weapons or firearms

  • Controlled substances

  • Perishable goods requiring refrigeration (unless pre-approved)

  • Live animals

  • Currency or negotiable instruments

We reserve the right to refuse any shipment.

 

4. Booking & Payment

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • All fees are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

  • We accept credit card and authorized electronic bank payments.

  • Prices may vary based on distance, urgency, and parcel size.

Failure to provide valid payment may result in cancellation of service.

 

5. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled:

  • Free of charge before driver dispatch.

  • Subject to a dispatch fee once a driver has been assigned.

  • Full charge may apply if cancellation occurs after parcel pickup.

6. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times are estimates only.

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Traffic conditions

  • Weather

  • Road closures

  • Mechanical issues

  • Incorrect address information

  • Circumstances beyond our control

 

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate pickup and delivery details

  • Ensure items are securely packaged

  • Ensure recipient availability at delivery location

If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information or recipient absence, additional fees may apply.

 

8. Liability & Claims

Hatid Logistics’ liability for lost or damaged parcels is limited to:

$100 per shipment, unless additional declared value coverage is purchased prior to pickup.

We are not responsible for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of profits

  • Business interruption

  • Damage resulting from insufficient packaging

Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated:

  • We reserve the right to provide proof of delivery

  • Administrative fees may apply for fraudulent disputes

  • Accounts may be suspended pending investigation

 

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, and materials are the property of Hatid Logistics and may not be used without written permission.

 

11. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

 

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
